Club Car is set to mark 26 years of driving the Ryder Cup by using solar power to charge cars on location for the first time.

Club Car has delivered a fleet of 550 utility vehicles and golf carts to Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Rome ahead of next month's staging of the 44th edition of the Ryder Cup.

As it puts golf growth plans into full swing, the renowned luxury hotel group, which has over 30 locations across the UK, is spreading its new fleet of Club Cars across five of its resorts
