Sir Michael Bonallack, Britain’s most successful amateur golfer of the post-war era, and one of golf’s most pre-eminent administrators, passed away on September 26 in St Andrews, Scotland at the age of 88. 

Cathy Panton-Lewis has been selected to captain the Great Britain & Ireland team for the 2024 Women’s PGA Cup at Sunriver Resort in Oregon, USA.

The traditional driving-in ceremony for the new Captain of The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews took place on the 1st tee of the Old Course today (Sept 22).
