Club Car, the world’s largest manufacturer of small-wheel, zero-emissions electric vehicles, will continue its long-standing association with The Solheim Cup following its appointment as Official Supplier to the 2015 edition, which will take place at St. Leon-Rot Golf Club, in Germany.
During the official press conference which recently took place in Frankfurt, Club Car unveiled both Captains’cars, emblazoned in respective team colours, which European team skipper Carin Koch and her American counterpart, Juli Inkster, will use to oversee their team’s progress at the 14th edition of the biennial golf tournament.
“We know the strength of the Club Car brand very well and are pleased to have such a strong partner on board,” said Eicko Schulz-Hanssen, General Manager of St. Leon-Rot Golf Club, a European Tour Destination which has hosted numerous national and international tournaments, including three Deutsche Bank SAP Opens (1999, 2001 and 2002) – a tally that now includes The 2015 Solheim Cup.

For the September 2015 event, Club Car will also supply vehicles for all on-course television and event logistics, as well as all team and match officials to ensure the smooth running of this major golfing tournament.
Club Car is also an Official Supplier to The European Tour and The 2014 Ryder Cup between Europe and the United States at Gleneagles, Scotland, where it will provide 300 vehicles essential to the operation and smooth running of another one of golf’s prestigious team events.
