The British Golf Industry Association is funding its biggest ever investment in growing the game of golf, supporting a new Golf Foundation pilot programme aimed at getting more school pupils playing at golf clubs after a six-week introduction in school.

Golfers willing to take on The Big Golf Race have three fundraising options: the Marathon (consisting of playing 72-holes in a day and walking an average of 26 miles); the Half Marathon (36-holes over 13.1 miles) or the formidable Ultra Marathon (100-holes over 35 miles)

The Professional Golfers’ Association has formed a partnership with the British Golf Industry Association that will see both organisations working together to promote the game and increase participation in the UK and Ireland.
