The British Golf Industry Association (BGIA) is looking ahead to its upcoming two day Annual Gala Dinner & Charity Golf Day, to be held at Woburn Golf and County Club on 9th & 10th May.

The event, now a popular occasion in the golf industry calendar, provides an ideal setting for guests to enjoy networking with customers, colleagues and friends whilst once again showing support for the BGIA ‘Grow Golf’ fund – which is providing key funds into stimulating golf participation across all age groups, geographic regions and social backgrounds in the UK.

This years dinner, with over 100 guests already confirmed, looks to welcome guest speaker Bill Elliott for the evening, who spent 26 years as a sports writer for Express Newspapers and is a former Magazine Sportswriter of the Year.

The following day, guests will take on the newest of the three championship courses – Woburn’s famous Marquess, of which the phrase ‘risk and reward’ characterises the course. With 20 teams already confirmed for the Charity golf day, it is set to be another successful event. Here’s to a sunny bright May day.
