It was in October of 2000, at the PGA TOUR’s Invensys Classic in Las Vegas, that the original Pro V1 was first made available to play in competition and 47 players, including the eventual champion, made the immediate move to Pro V1 that week.

The PGA TOUR has expanded its commercial relationship with The Coca-Cola Company, as the TOUR's Official Soft Drink adds to its categories Official Sports Drink, Isotonic Drink and Water of the PGA TOUR and PGA TOUR Champions.

The PGA TOUR has announced the launch of a World Feed in 2025, which will allow it and international media partners to provide fans with more customised coverage of the Tour’s international players, complemented by a graphics package and a dedicated international commentary team.
