AIG Women’s Open hosts Royal Porthcawl Golf Club has won an award from Wales Golf in the year they are about the host the biggest female sporting event ever held in Wales. 

Wales Golf has launched a new scheme to expand the quality of coaching around the nation, to help develop more talented coaches and young players.  Golff Coach Cymru provides a high quality and unique face-to-face coach development opportunity to help align the Wales Golf pathway and further develop its coaching workforce.

Golf in Wales is to receive a £1m financial boost from the Welsh Government to help ensure a lasting legacy from the largest female sporting event ever to be held in Wales.
