PING continue backing Wales Golf

2.00pm 27th July 2022 - Sponsorship & Events

PING have renewed their sponsorship with Wales Golf, including a new look for the top amateurs in Wales competing across the UK and Europe.

Apart from being the official kit supplier for our Wales Golf national golf teams, providing kit for the best amateur players in Wales, PING also sponsor the Welsh Junior Tour, Mixed Foursomes and Player of the Year.

“The Wales squad players are delighted with the look and quality of the kit, which they say is outstanding,” said Wales Golf Director of Performance, Gillian O’Leary.

“Earning the national kit is a reward for the players in reaching international level and includes a bespoke designed Wales Golf bag only available for team players. The sponsorship from PING also includes headcovers, caps, towels, knit hats, branded polos, jumpers and waterproof jackets.”

Commenting on the partnership, PING’s European Marketing Director, Dave Fanning, said, “We are delighted to renew our sponsorship of Wales Golf for a further two years. Seeing such talented athletes represent their country head-to-toe in PING products is something we’re extremely proud to be a part of and the positive feedback we’ve already received from the Wales squad players has been very pleasing.”

“As a brand, PING are committed to growing the game at all levels, which is why we’re also sponsoring the PING Welsh Junior Tour, Mixed Foursomes and Player of the Year, all of which we’re excited to see the potential growth over the next two years.”

PING Tour Professionals, Oliver Farr and Chloe Williams, both former Wales internationals, were also on hand to help launch the new kit in a recent photoshoot at the Vale Resort near Cardiff.
