Blackmoor Golf Club in Hampshire has completed an extensive, three-year course improvement project which includes enhancements to all 18 holes on its historic Harry Colt-designed course. 

Tim Lobb, principal architect at Lobb + Partner, says that building golf courses that fit their location, culturally and ecologically, is a vital part of golf design that has not been much discussed.

Golf Pirkkala, one of the most successful and dynamic golf clubs in Finland, is to extend its facilities from 18 to 27 holes, and has hired a team led by Tim Lobb of Lobb + Partners to design the new course.
