Dean Robertson has been appointed Great Britain and Ireland Captain for next year's 50th Walker Cup match being held at Cypress Point Club in California.

Former Walker Cup captain Andy Ingram is to take over as the next President of Wales Golf, capping more than 30 years of involvement in the game in Wales and internationally.

Sir Michael Bonallack, Britain’s most successful amateur golfer of the post-war era, and one of golf’s most pre-eminent administrators, passed away on September 26 in St Andrews, Scotland at the age of 88.
