Oxford Golf Club’s youth members have joined the regional Golf Sixes league after being invited by national charity The Golf Foundation and the Oxfordshire Junior Golf League and over 20 junior players have registered. It is the Club’s ambition to develop an inclusive environment where youngsters new to golf can learn and develop key skills associated with the sport.

Effingham Golf Club officially opened its new short game facility last week, with DP World Tour and 2008 Ryder Cup player Oliver Wilson giving a chipping and wedge play clinic to members and invited guests as part of the unveiling ceremony at the Surrey venue.

A book celebrating 100 years since Oxford Golf Club was transformed by legendary architect Harry Colt has been published by the club's former secretary.
