Sporting Insights, formerly Sports Marketing Surveys, has published a report on the attitudes of 21,000 golfers across 13 countries towards the current state of the professional game.

Cable & Wireless, the global telecommunications group, and Golfserve have announced a deal with the Professional Golfers’ Association to provide virtual ISP services, managed hosting facilities and an e-commerce platform for the PGA. The deal is estimated to be worth close to £1 million per annum and may be extended to 28 other European countries where the PGA has a presence
