Golf greenkeepers from across the globe joined together at the British & International Golf Greenkeepers Association’s annual education programme and trade show to celebrate the career of a former head greenkeeper who spent 30 years building a network of turf professionals across Europe.

The British and International Golf Greenkeepers Association, in conjunction with other global greenkeeper and course superintendent groups, is recognising those who help keep golf courses enjoyable and sustainable with an international ‘Thank a Greenkeeper Day’.

International “Thank a Greenkeeper Day” honours golf course management professionals on Sept. 23. Golfers are asked to show their support on social media using #ThankAGreenkeeper
