Offers in the region of £1.25 million are invited for the freehold property.

Blacknest Golf & Country Club comprises: an 18 hole 5,974 yard (par 69) golf course; a 6 hole academy course, 13 bay golf driving range and practice putting green; together with a modern c. 601 sq m (6,470 sq ft) clubhouse including conference / function facilities, a leisure suite and retail space. Planning consent has recently been obtained to convert the first floor of the clubhouse to 10 en-suite letting bedrooms, with replacement leisure facilities on the ground floor.

Blacknest Golf & Country Club opened in 1994. The Club achieves a turnover of approximately £575,000, with a business mix of circa 33% membership income; 27% golf range and green fee income; 30% food and beverage income and 10% retail and miscellaneous sales. The business is currently owned by absentee proprietors with multiple business interests outside the county. The Club is considered ripe for commercialisation.

The sale is being handled by GVA Humberts Leisure’s London Office.
