Victoria Golf Resort in Sri Lanka and Madinaty Golf Club in Egypt have joined Troon International facilities from the Middle East in signing the R&A’s Women in Golf Charter.

The Women in Golf Awards, held at Walton Heath Golf Club during last week’s AIG Women’s Open, is a key event in the golfing calendar which celebrates the significant contribution that women continue to make within the golf industry

The announcement comes during Troon Women’s Golf Month, a month in which Troon facilities around the world highlight initiatives promoting gender equality and inclusivity within the sport and encourage female participation at all levels
