A new PGA designation through the PGA’s Excel framework has helped Sam Smitherman land the prestigious head professional role at Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club in Kent.

Scottish-born PGA Professional David Scott has accepted the invitation to captain the PGA of Great Britain and & Ireland in 2025.
