In taking up the position, Martha becomes the first female Chair of the national governing body. Martha is also a non-executive director of the PGA European Tour and is Chair of PGA European Tour Productions.

A native of Pennsylvania, Martha has held many top-level roles in the media business over the past two decades, most recently as Chief Executive Officer, International Operations, of the Endemol Shine Group, a world leader in providing multi-platform entertainment content

The General Meeting agreed to streamline the Board by reducing it from 15 to 12 members. There will now be eight elected directors, three independent members and the Chief Executive Officer
