Bushnell unveils Phantom 2 Slope GPS

10.53am 7th July 2022 - New Products

Bushnell Outdoor Products have unveiled their latest innovative GPS device – the Phantom 2 Slope.

Building on the success of the Phantom 2 GPS device launched last year, Bushnell has now added a Slope feature to this upgraded device which offers more precise compensated distances to account for a hole’s incline or decline. Slope Technology can also be simply disabled which makes the Phantom 2 Slope legal for tournament play.

Golfers can also enjoy the ease and convenience of getting GPS-provided distances around the course with the Phantom 2 Slope. It features large, easy-to-read front, centre and back distances, an integrated BITE magnetic mount and GreenView with movable pin placement.

“Bushnell Golf prides itself on providing easy to use distance measuring devices for golfers of all skill levels, and the Phantom 2 Slope delivers the simplicity and convenience golfers are looking for in a GPS device,” said Darren Bragg, Bushnell Commercial Manager EMEA.

“The Phantom 2 Slope provides golfers with even more detailed distance information than before while offering the convenience and reliability they are accustomed to from Bushnell Golf GPS products.”

The feature-packed Phantom 2 Slope includes GreenView distances with movable pin placements for even more accurate distances to the flag and ‘Dynamic Green Mapping’, which provides front/centre/back distance measurements no matter which direction the golfer approaches the green.

Preloaded with more than 38,000 courses – along with up to six hazard/layup distances per hole, Phantom 2 Slope includes ‘BITE Technology’ – an integrated, high-powered magnet – that allows golfers to easily attach the device directly to a cart bar providing fast, easy yardage readings. Phantom 2 Slope has a large easy read screen, ideal for getting distances whilst playing in bright sunlight.

Bushnell Golf has remained the preferred distance-measuring device on the PGA Tour for over a decade and a half. The Darrell Survey Company, the golf industry’s leading independent and impartial arbiter of equipment use, reports 98.6 percent of the 2022 Players Championship field used a Bushnell laser rangefinder to obtain accurate yardages.

The Phantom Slope is priced at £149.99 and is available in black and camo from www.bushnellgolf.com.
