J.Lindeberg launches 30th anniversary apparel collection

Scandinavian apparel brand launches new capsule golf collection to celebrate three decades in business.

Scandinavian apparel brand J.LINDEBERG has released a new capsule collection to celebrate the company’s 30th anniversary.

Founded in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1996, J.Lindeberg was born out of an idea to inject style and energy to golf by changing how players all over the world dress, on and off the course. Since then, the brand has evolved into a global sportswear lifestyle brand.

Today, J.Lindeberg can be found in more than 35 countries. There are 157 J.Lindeberg stores, with outlets in Copenhagen, Hong Kong and Shanghai, and showrooms in Stockholm, Oslo, London, New York, Munich, Salzburg, and Zürich. Wholesale distribution covers close to 2,000 stores, including tleading high-end department and specialty stores around the world.

To mark the occasion, the 30-year anniversary capsule revisits one of the most memorable style moments in golf: Jesper Parnevik’s appearance at The Open Championship in 1998. From the pink trousers to the black sweater and the iconic snapback hat, it was a defining image in the brand’s history that helped shape a new fashion language for golf.

The collection reinterprets this moment through a modern lens, translating its attitude and colour into contemporary silhouettes designed for today’s game and lifestyle surrounding it.

The nostalgic golf wardrobe features statement polos, striped knitwear, pleated pants and tailored shorts, complemented by dresses and lightweight layers that move easily from course to clubhouse and summer evenings. A palette of pink, black and crisp white anchors the capsule as a nod to the original look. Ambassadors Viktor Hovland and Niklas Norgaard are also set to wear multiple pieces during the 126th US Open Championship, which is being held at Shinnecock Hills in New York from June 18-21.
