Cleveland Golf Take Tour Fitting To The Amateurs

12.32am 27th April 2011 - Corporate - This story was updated on Tuesday, May 17th, 2011

2011 sees the launch of Cleveland Golf’s new Tech truck fitting events, these events now aim go one step further than a demo day by essentially being able to supply built product on the day just like a tour player would experience.

Cleveland Golf are bringing tour standard fitting to golf clubs all over the UK based around a holistic approach to club fitting to ensure that amateur golfers never get that sense of discomfort about their equipment again. This new service will allow club golfers to have their new clubs fitted exactly to their specifications with an experienced, tour standard equipment guru by their side. Customers will also be able to take their new equipment home with them on the day therefore not having to wait around until they can benefit from their new technology- much like the tour pros do.

An example of how Cleveland Golf’s new service can make such a dramatic difference is with the ‘Right Weight’ fitting system. The Launcher’s ‘Ultralite’ total club weight, coupled with an innovative ‘Right Weight’ fitting system designed to match golfers perfectly to a driver, will help every player hit longer, straighter drives.

Cleveland Golf’s new Ultralite drivers come in three slightly different models all with different weights designed to match up to people’s various swing speeds from professionals to high handicappers. With the weight of a driver having such an impact on a golfers swing plane this technology is what is beginning to set Cleveland Golf out from the rest, and what is more the club golfer can now try everything out with a tour standard club fitter using the latest GC2 launch monitor to give accurate feedback on demand.

Even though the truck days will offer the average golfer more service and technology than they would have had before customers can take their experience to an even further level by making an appointment at the Cleveland/Srixon Centre of Excellence where they will be exposed to the digital age of club fitting.

At the Centre of Excellence golfers will have the chance to improve their games through the use of the Trackman system. The Trackman is a piece of software that scientifically measures to the nth degree any golfers launch angle, spin rate, swing speed and club speed as precisely as is ever possible therefore leaving the golfer with 100% confidence in their equipment.

Everyone who has invested time in playing golf has a right to feel good on the course but very rarely do they reach that comfort zone we all strive for. Now with the ability to have their clubs custom fit in front of them through true Cleveland Golf Tech Truck days, they can edge ever closer to it.
