Golf Industry News - Walker Cup

The Walker Cup is to switch to being played in even years from 2026 onwards.

The United States Golf Association has announced that Oakmont Country Club and Merion Golf Club, both of which are in Pennsylvania, will host five US Opens and four US Women’s Opens between them between now and 2050.

Nearly 11,000 fans flocked to Hoylake over the two-day match which ended with the USA winning the Walker Cup away from home for the first time since 2007 at Royal County Down
