Golf Ireland and The R&A continued the countdown to Royal Portrush's hosting of The 153rd Open later this year with the launch of 'The Road to The Open', an initiative designed to harness the legacy of the championship's return to Northern Ireland.

At the BMW PGA Championship this year, BMW committed their Eagles For Education initiative to support the Golf Foundation’s schools programme Unleash Your Drive. A fantastic week saw 89 eagles scored across four days, with an eagle from Billy Horschel ultimately winning the playoff.
