Golf resorts, hotels and clubhouses in England have been given the green light to re-open from July 4 following the latest relaxation in the lockdown rules announced by the UK Government on June 23.

England Golf is set to unveil a bespoke World Handicap System (WHS) toolkit for golf clubs alongside a nationwide education campaign aimed at golfers entitled ‘Know the Score’.

England Golf chief executive Jeremy Tomlinson has said that ‘not everything in the garden is rosy’, as he reflected on a month since clubs in the England were able to reopen following the easing of the Covid-19 lockdown.
