More youngsters are also taking to the fairways than ever before, proving that this year’s campaign for ‘Learner Drivers’ really moved into top gear around the UK.

Colin Montgomerie, Europe’s leading golfer, launched BAE Systems National Golf Week in the Millennium Dome this morning by giving a golf lesson to PY Gerbeau, chief executive of NMEC
