Dundonald Links has recently been voted amongst the Top 20 International Golf Courses, by readers of Celebrated Living in the magazine’s ‘Summer Platinum List‘.
Celebrated Living is the official luxury magazine of American Airlines Premium Class and is read by thousands of travellers every week. Those readers have ranked Dundonald Links twelfth in the list, alongside such venues as Turnberry, Muirfield, Royal County Down and Valderrama.
“To feature so highly in such a well respected poll, clearly demonstrates the growing status of Dundonald Links in the world of golf,” commented John Caven, director of golf, Dundonald Links & Loch Lomond Golf Club.
“To be ranked as high as twelfth in the poll is an achievement in itself, but to come out ahead of the likes of Muirfield and Valderrama is a clear testament to all the hard work that has been done in recent years,” he added.
Dundonald Links is the sister course of the renowned Loch Lomond Golf Club and was designed by the well-known architect Kyle Phillips. It is fast gaining a reputation as a must play course and is situated on the stunning Ayrshire coastline, not far from Troon.
