Your Golf Travel Gives Full Backing to New English Tour

The London-based firm has finalised an agreement with the new tour, open to both professionals and amateurs, to become its official travel partner for the 2013 season.

Launched at The Belfry last month, the English Tour provides golfers of all abilities with a platform to enjoy competitive golf at some of the finest courses in the country including the likes of St Mellion, Hillside and Moortown, with its matchplay semi-finals being held at Open Championship venue Royal Birkdale and the grand final in Dubai.

With 16 two-day professional events and 10 one-day amateur competitions taking place this year, the tour is quickly becoming the most modern, forward-thinking and progressive professional and amateur golf Tour in the UK and Europe.

Run full-time by a dedicated team of golf and business professionals, the English Tour costs just £50 for amateurs to join, who will then receive £90 worth of golfing gear in return.

Each event has an entry fee of £125 and will see competitors enjoy 18 holes of championship golf, a complimentary Luke Golf Shirt and G/Fore glove and lunch, plus first prizes worth in excess of £500.

Your Golf Travel’s new partnership with the English Tour is the latest in an attractive and growing list of new partnerships that the company has secured in the last six months.

European Tour legend Darren Clarke, the company’s new global brand ambassador, has fronted a major television advertising campaign across Sky TV in the opening four months of this year.

Ryder Cup hero Ian Poulter’s clothing company IJP Design has been confirmed as Your Golf Travel’s new official apparel partner while other new partnerships include agreements with the likes of Troon Golf and talkSPORT – the world’s biggest sports radio station.

Your Golf Travel, which was included in the Sunday Times’ Fast Track 100 league table for 2012 for the fourth year running, offers golf holidays and breaks to 22 countries and more than 3,000 destinations worldwide through its website and brochure.
