West One Loans, a Watford-based finance company that specialises in mortgages and property, has announced a sponsorship deal with English tour professional Matt Wallace, who will be playing a combined schedule across the PGA Tour and the DP World Tour this year.
Wallace secured his PGA Tour status for a fourth season last year by finishing in the top 125 on the FedEx Cup standings in 2022. He is also a four-time winner on The DP World Tour, with three of those victories coming in the same 2018 season.
Wallace carried the West One logo on his hat for the first time at the PGA Tour’s WM Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale and will continue to do so throughout the rest of the season.
“When the opportunity arose for West One to sponsor Matt, we jumped at the chance,” Danny Waters, chief executive at Enra Specialist Finance, the parent company of West One Loans, said. “Not only is he from just down the road in Pinner, but he is a prodigious international talent, and we are extremely keen to help one of our own.
“Matt has competed at the highest level including at the US Open, the PGA Championship, The Masters, played alongside the likes of Tiger Woods at The Open Championship, and is on the brink of Europe’s Ryder Cup team.”
Waters also related that he knew Wallace very well on a personal level and “his tenacity, hard work and talent are evident in everything he does.”
