E-Z-GO to supply electric vehicle fleet to support 2026 Solheim Cup

E-Z-GO will be official supplier for premier women’s professional team golf event at Bernardus Golf.

E-Z-GO, a Textron company, is to provide more than 160 E-Z-GO and Cushman ELiTE Series vehicles to the 2026 Solheim Cup, which is being held at at Bernardus Golf in the Netherlands from September 7-13.

E-Z-GO will serve as the official supplier of golf cars to the 2026 Solheim Cup, extending a relationship with the event that began with the 2023 tournament.

“Supporting the game of golf is a priority for E-Z-GO,” said Steen Scherff, Director, International Sales, E-Z-GO. “As the women’s game increases in stature on both sides of the Atlantic, we are proud to support the 2026 Solheim Cup and continue our relationship with this important event. We’re excited to see some great golf from both teams in the Netherlands this September.”

With sustainability at the heart of all planning for the event, the ambition is to minimise both the carbon footprint and waste, with E-Z-GO delivering innovative and sustainable electric vehicles.

E-Z-GO will support the 2026 Solheim Cup with more than 160 vehicles, which will be used to transport competitors, team captains, staff, and equipment and materials throughout the venue. The fully electric, zero-emission vehicles are powered by Samsung SDI’s advanced scalable lithium technology, featuring long battery life, low cost of operation, high efficiency, and a lighter and more compact battery design.

Among the E-Z-GO and Cushman models in use at the team matchplay event will be Freedom RXV ELiTE models for the US and European team captains; multiple E-Z-GO RXV ELiTE fleet golf cars; E-Z-GO Express 6 and Cushman Shuttle 6 personnel carriers; and Cushman Hauler PRO ELiTE utility vehicles.
