STRI’s 3 new training courses for greenkeepers in 2004 aim to bridge the gap between science and practice.
The golf programme will take place between 15-19 November in Bingley, to
take advantage of STRI’s on site laboratories and extensive trials grounds.
“Putting Science into Practice on Your Golf Course”
The programme has been split into 5 consecutive one day modules covering:-

Grasses on the Golf Course
Greens Construction and Irrigation
Golf Course Ecology
Turfgrass Pests and Diseases
Nutrition – Feeding Your Golf Course

To help cope with today’s constant demands for higher quality playing
surfaces information will include the latest techniques, new research and
current issues surrounding management and maintenance on the golf course.
Costs for each module are £110 plus VAT with discounts for multi bookings
and STRI Subscribers. Overnight accommodation packages are available.
