Tournament management software platform Golf Genius has appointed Sean Dainty as Managing Director – International as the company continues to accelerate its growth across global golf markets.
Dainty joins Golf Genius at a pivotal time for the business, which today supports more than 11,000 clients, associations and organisations across more than 60 countries worldwide, including partnerships with more than 20 national golf federations and associations.

After leading the international expansion of the business for more than a decade, the appointment marks part of a planned leadership succession for Craig Higgs, who will transition into a part-time role focused on business development and strategic advisory support, ensuring continuity as Golf Genius enters its next phase of international growth.
Under Higgs’ leadership, the international business has grown into a network of over 1,100 clients across more than 60 countries including private clubs, public facilities, simulator golf facilities, resorts, regional golf associations, national golf federations, PGAs, and tours.
Dainty joins Golf Genius with more than two decades of experience leading high-growth technology businesses across international markets including Datasite, a leading SaaS provider for the mergers and acquisitions industry, and more recently, as Head of Middle East & Africa for Intapp’s DealCloud platform.
“Craig has played an instrumental role in building our international business and establishing Golf Genius as a trusted technology partner across the global golf industry,” said Chris Kallmeyer, CEO of Golf Genius. “His leadership has created an exceptional platform for continued success, with a talented team, a loyal client base and a strong presence across key golf markets worldwide. Sean brings the experience, commercial acumen, leadership qualities, and passion for golf needed to build on that momentum as we continue to expand our international business.
“It has been incredibly rewarding to help grow Golf Genius internationally and work alongside so many fantastic clients and colleagues over the years, and I have enjoyed every minute of it,” said Higgs. “The business is in a very strong position for growth, and I know that the international business will go from strength to strength under Sean’s leadership.”
“Golf Genius has built an outstanding reputation globally through its technology, innovation and commitment to customer success,” said Dainty. “The strength of the international business, the quality of the team and the opportunities ahead make this an incredibly exciting time to be joining. I look forward to working closely with our clients, partners and colleagues as we continue to grow and support the game around the world.”
With Higgs continuing to support key strategic initiatives and client relationships, and Dainty assuming day-to-day leadership of the international business, Golf Genius is well positioned to build on its momentum and continue expanding its global footprint while delivering best-in-class technology solutions to golf organisations worldwide.
