Great Golf Media, the publishers of ‘Great Golf Magazine’, the leading luxury golf travel and lifestyle publication in the UK, received a fantastic response to Great Golf Holidays their new Direct Booking Portal for luxury travellers at this year’s IGTM in Tenerife.
Great Golf Holidays was launched this summer to help make it easy for their readership to book luxury holidays online, either direct with the resort or through partner tour operators. Over the years Great Golf Magazine has published numerous luxury features from destinations around the world. The aim now is to give our readers the option of direct booking at golf destinations, and this was the message that was communicated to the exhibitors at IGTM this year.
Mike Stock, Managing Director of Great Golf Media, was overwhelmed by the positive response from delegates, luxury resorts and even the tour operators who have their own dedicated section of the portal. “I have been going to IGTM for several years and have always had a busy schedule, but this year my diary was full from the first minute until the show closed and I was delighted by this outcome,” he said.
“When I explained what we are doing with Great Golf Holidays and looking to do in the future – and how it would help all our partners, the response was fabulous. I had so many people who just said ‘Where do I sign to get on board?’
“We are of course very excited about Great Golf Holidays as our partners are now receiving bookings and we plan to include many more locations.
“We have hard work ahead of us as we close in to adding our hundredth luxury package on Great Golf Holidays and we have to find the guests and visitors for all our partners. “Thankfully we have a fantastic team who are all determined to make this venture a successful one and with the support from our partners I am confident we will achieve our aim.”
