Danish golfers are now offered a host of inspiration for their next golf holiday. Denmark’s new golf travel portal GolfersGlobe.com, has launched a strategic partnership with the Danish news portal Golfonline.dk which provides news and information to the site’s more than 125,000 readers.

“We have an ambitious objective to provide all the information needed for golfers to easily choose where to go for the next golf vacation. On Golfonline.dk we will gather some of the information and introduce readers to some hopefully interesting and readable articles,” explains Søren Barnak, editor of Golfersglobe.com.

Cooperation between the two online platforms is interesting in several ways. First of all, the agreement gives GolferGlobe the opportunity to inspire Golfonline.dk’s many readers with travel inspiration. But it is also interesting for GolferGlobe’s partners, who want to increase their focus on the Danish and Scandinavian market.

“What we now can offer is not only exposure on GolfersGlobe.com but we can also write articles from certain areas or write more specifically about new golf destinations. It is actually a win-win situation for all parties. Also for the thousands of daily readers, who get introduced and inspired to new destinations for an upcoming golf trip,” says Søren Barnak.

According GolferGlobe, statistics show that more than 400,000 Scandinavians every year travel on a golf vacation. A large part are Danish golfers. Golfonline.dk annually has more than 500,000 visits to the site which means hotels, golf courses or golf destinations now have the opportunity to be presented to a huge and very relevant audience.

At Golfonline.dk they also welcome the new cooperation agreement.

“GolfersGlobe is a new and interesting player in the market, and we saw a chance to help an entrepreneurial enterprise. For us it was exciting to be linked with such an ambitious actor, and we can only be happy and excited with our connection,” explains Søren Kragh, who today is one of the driving forces behind Golfonline.dk.

According to Søren Kragh he was presented with an offer which was hard to say no to.

“The market for golf travel is constantly growing, and we know it is a subject that also interests Golfonline.dk’s readers. When we looked at the presentations which GolferGlobe offer, we could see they were serious. The content on their site is presented in a nice and orderly manner and as a customer you now simply click on either Golfonline.dk or GolfersGlobe.com if you want some up to date travel advice,” says Søren Kragh.

According to Søren Kragh the online media is a powerful medium. Much stronger than the printed media, where the articles are read and subsequently discarded. On platforms like GolfersGlobe.com and Golfonline.dk the articles are freely available to readers who again and again can find inspiration for the next golf trip.

Golfer Globe will deliver new weekly travel articles for Golfonline.dk. and it is not just be about golf.

“We believe in the idea of the modern traveller, who in addition to playing golf also desire other vacation experiences. It’s not always easy to find ’what to see’ experience. Therefore on GolfersGlobe.com we write numerous articles on ‘What to see’ and ‘What to do’, we also guide our readers, for example, to find the best restaurants as many who go on golf vacation it is an equally important part of the holiday experience as playing golf,” concludes Søren Barnak.
