Apes Hill Barbados has extend its relationship with leading PR and marketing specialists Azalea, who will take on an extended brief in 2024 to include the resort’s lifestyle services across the UK, Europe and North America.

Since October 2022, Azalea has worked closely with Apes Hill Barbados, playing an integral part in the busiest period in the resort’s history, including the reopening of its reimagined and critically acclaimed Championship golf course and Performance Centre. The partnership has been in tandem with a new chapter for the Caribbean venue since the current ownership took over in 2019.

Under the renewed 12-month agreement, Azalea will carry out additional responsibilities to promote the venue’s world-class lifestyle and real-estate services, as well as developing and managing relationships with global golf tour operators.

Dan Shepherd Public Relations will continue to provide support on the North American side of Apes Hill’s business.

Sean Noble, managing director of Azalea, said: “We are delighted to continue our relationship with Apes Hill in 2024 and look forward to being part of the resort’s story for another year. The ambitious and talented team at Apes Hill are committed to creating one of the world’s leading destinations, so it is no wonder they have already attracted some of the most respected figures in the world of golf to work with them.”

Cheryl Franklin, head of brand development and international marketing at Apes Hill Barbados, said: “At an exciting time for Apes Hill, we are pleased to retain the services of Azalea and to work with them across our entire brand services. Since first engaging Azalea in 2022, Apes Hill has been transformed by major investments, from Ron Kirby’s stunning course to our new real estate developments. There is still much more to come over the coming years and Azalea’s expertise and connections will continue to be extremely valuable as we continue to strive for growth.”
