Irish Golf Industry Survey Launched

12.09pm 2nd October 2015 - Management Topics

irish logosThe GUI, ILGU, Failte Ireland and Grant Thornton are undertaking a significant research exercise to assess and determine the current health of the golf industry in Ireland, seeking to identify the trends and developments which have taken place since the last survey was completed in 2010.

A symposium will be held in November this year at which the key findings of the research and the associated report will be presented. Understanding industry trends and the performance of Clubs over the last five years since the last report was published is important in the ongoing development of the game.

The research validity and value is dependent on the participation of all clubs. In addition to identifying the current market conditions within the industry, the research findings will help establish meaningful solutions.

All Golf Club managers and Officers are encouraged to ensure their Club participates in the survey which can be accessed by logging onto http://www.grantthornton.ie/Irish-Golf-Industry-survey where the survey can be completed on line or a hard copy downloaded. A prize draw will be held for those participants who complete the survey on line.

Completing the survey should take no more than 20 minutes of your time and participants can request a hard copy survey of the report.

All returned surveys will be anonymous and treated in the strictest confidence.
