Fore Group joins ION 54 partner network to strengthen end-to-end delivery for golf facilities

Fore Group to work alongside ION 54’s core teams and portfolio companies to deliver comprehensive, connected solutions to golf facilities across the globe.

Software solutions leaders Fore Group has joined the partner network of ION 54, a global platform designed to bring together specialist expertise across the full lifecycle of golf businesses.

Fore Group will contribute its expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting integrated software ecosystems for golf facilities. This includes ensuring that core systems – from tee sheets and point of sale, to membership, marketing, and reporting – are fully connected, configured, and aligned with the broader operational strategy from day one.

ION 54 connects strategic advisory, development, marketing, agronomy, pre-opening and club management, and sales into a single, integrated delivery model. The platform is designed to reduce fragmentation across the industry and provide a more coordinated, end-to-end approach to planning, development, and long-term operations.

Through this collaboration, Fore Group becomes part of ION 54’s global partner network: a group of specialist entities working alongside ION 54’s core teams and portfolio companies to deliver comprehensive, connected solutions across each stage of a project.

Too often, technology is introduced late in a project or implemented in isolation, creating unnecessary complexity once a facility is operational. For Fore Group CEO Cameron Probert, this is what makes the ION 54 model stand out.

“What’s compelling about ION 54 is the way it connects every part of a project from the outset,” he said. “Being part of that ecosystem means we can ensure that the systems underpinning day-to-day operations are aligned with the wider strategy, properly integrated, and set up to support the facility long term.”

That focus on alignment across disciplines sits at the core of ION 54’s approach. As 54 CEO Ed Edwards explains, the partner network is designed to bring together specialist expertise across every stage of a project, with technology becoming a defining element of successful golf developments.

He said: “Our partner network brings together best-in-class expertise across every discipline involved in golf development and operations. As the next generation of golf destinations becomes increasingly connected, technology will play a fundamental role in shaping how these assets are designed, operated and experienced.

“Fore Group brings critical expertise to our ecosystem, ensuring technology is embedded from the outset – not as a standalone solution, but as a strategic enabler that supports operational excellence, enhances the guest experience and drives long-term commercial value.”
