Encouraged by an outstanding turnout last year, the organisers of this year’s Leadership Golf Conference (and also the publishers of www.golfonline.sk for Slovakia and the Czech Republic and www.golfonline.com.ua which is published in Russian) have decided that the Conference this year should be presented in two different venues.
On 23 August the presentations will be made at Black Stork Velka Lomnica, Slovakia (www.golftatry.sk) – the venue for last year’s successful event – while on 25 August the presentations will be repeated at Golf Resort Konopiste in Czech Republic (www.gcko.cz) one of the country’s biggest golf resorts

The conference will focus on the Professional Management of Golf Facilities; Sustainable Practices and Changes in Golf Course Architecture; trends in Golf & Real Estate; New technologies including online booking; and Golf Course Maintenance, Management, Efficiency & Costs Savings

Lucia Huberova, project coordinator, says, “Last year we welcomed 50 people which was a big success considering the size of the Slovak golf market is just 14 courses and it was the first event of its kind in Slovakia.
“This year we believe that we shall attract a similar amount of people to each venue. The Czech market is much more developed than Slovak and we have also invited some people from Russia, Ukraine, Estonia, and Hungary.”
