UK Golf Federation partners with Permanex Power

1.15pm 28th June 2022 - Corporate

The UK Golf Federation has signed up Permanex Power, a new division of Permanex Site Security Ltd, as a new Corporate Partner.

Permanex Power is an independent electric vehicle charge point (EVC) installer which assists with choosing and setting up the best chargers and back-office system for your project.

Permanex Power understand that the EVC market and technologies are new to many customers and offer all the support and assistance needed, including a site evaluation and electrical survey prior to order.

The Permanex Group installs for some of the biggest companies and best known golf courses in the UK, including Royal St Georges Golf Club, Berkeley Homes, City of London, Ernst & Young and many more.

Speaking about the new partnership, Doug Poole, CEO of the UKGF, said: “This is perfect timing for Permanex Power to join us as a Corporate Partner, as we all understand that the use of petrol and diesel will give way to electric and hybrid cars and golf course machinery over the coming years.

“Permanex Power is already very experienced in the supply and fitting of charging stations to golf courses and other major companies across the UK. They are fully accredited and can take everyone through the process and even help get a grant towards the cost of installation. Golf courses are perfect locations for charging points for the whole community and can also be valuable sources of income.”

Nigel Cox, Managing Director of Permanex, said: “We believe we can provide members of the UKGF real value as we are fully accredited and insured and work to industry HSE and RAM requirements. As part of a larger group all groundworks, design and IT works are kept in-house, meaning clients have a single point of contact to keep continuity and communications simple. We will also assist customers in applying for the maximum OZEV grants, which are currently worth up to £14,000.”
