Golf equipment company Srixon Sports Europe has appointed Darren Walsh as its new Regional Sales and Demo Representative for Ireland.

He started playing golf at Wexford Golf Club and from there completed his PGA training under Liam Bowler in 2012. Speaking about his new position, which he officially begins on February 11, Walsh said: “I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to further my career in sales and to represent the Srixon, Cleveland and XXIO brands in Ireland. I’m really looking forward to getting started and working with such a fantastic team. Once Covid restrictions allow, and it is safe to do so, I can’t wait to get back on the road meeting both new and familiar faces again, showcasing our magnificent product range.”

Gareth Taylor, Head of UK & Ireland Sales for Srixon Sports Europe, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Darren to the Srixon team and look forward to harnessing his skills and relationships to enhance existing relationships and grow our three brands across Ireland. He joins Srixon at a key time as we launch a variety of new equipment over the next few months and I’m positive Darren will play an integral role in our continued success.”
