Sports Coach Systems is world leader

12.10am 15th June 2005 - Corporate

Sports Coach Systems, based in the heart of Surrey, manufacture the largest range of golf simulators and analysis software programmes in the world. With the help of their own engineering company and in house software programmers, product and software improvements are always being developed.
Their product range which can be seen at www.sports-coach.com consists of three separate golf simulator, three club fitting systems, plus putting simulator and video analysis.
The very latest, and one programme that is not produced in house, but supplied by Microsoft under licence, is the LS Golf 3 which is the closest thing to playing a round of golf outside, but indoors. Improved graphics, sound effects, course and weather settings make LS 3 a true test for any golfer. This new software also enables golfers to match their ability with other golfers in other counties as the software links their score into a worldwide score board.
Golf simulators are normally very expensive at between £40K-£50K. However Sports Coach, by having the largest product range and with 90% of their product being manufactured in the UK has more realistic and affordable prices.
Golf simulators are now being installed in hotels, leisure centres, health clubs, snooker halls, private homes, golf clubs, retail stores and golf academies. They provide great entertainment and a good return on an investment starting from under £10K.
While businesses outside of golf are looking to attract extra visitors, retain membership and provide a service while generating good income, the golf trade is becoming more aware of the need to provide a better service for their customers twelve months of the year. The need to retain existing members has become even more important. The introduction of a golf simulator can provide great entertainment, and provide a facility for members and visitors to use all year around whatever the weather or time of the day.
Sports Coach Simulators feature some of the best courses in the world, Pebble Beach, St Andrews, Pinehurst and so on, but for the future they are currently working on the ability to create a simulator programme whereby your own course can be played three dimensionally.
