The QHotels Collection has been announced as the Official Hotel Partner of Prostate Cancer UK in Golf, marking a significant new partnership focused on driving awareness and raising vital funds through the game.
The collaboration will see The QHotels Collection support Prostate Cancer UK through a series of initiatives designed to engage golfers, societies and corporate groups across its portfolio of resorts.
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. The disease is curable if caught early, but early-stage prostate cancer often has no symptoms, so it is vital that men know their risk. Men are at higher risk if they are over 50, Black or have a father or brother who has had prostate cancer.
Central to the partnership is a commitment to donate 10% from every Prostate Cancer UK charity golf event booked and hosted at venues across The QHotels Collection, directly contributing to the charity’s life-saving work.
Keith Pickard, Golf, Health Club & Spa Director at The QHotels Collection, said: “We’re incredibly proud to be named Official Hotel Partner of Prostate Cancer UK, Golf and to play a role in supporting such an important cause. Golf has a unique ability to bring people together, and this partnership allows us to harness that in a meaningful way, not only by hosting charity events across our resorts, but by directly contributing to the funds raised through them.
“It also gives us an important platform to raise awareness of men’s health and encourage more conversations around it. We’re looking forward to working closely with the Prostate Cancer UK team to deliver a partnership that makes a meaningful difference both on and off the course.”

The partnership reflects a strong alignment between the two organisations, both of which are deeply connected to the game of golf and share a commitment to using the sport as a platform for positive impact. This also includes a natural connection through their respective relationships with the Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA), further strengthening collaboration across the industry.
James Steven, Head of Partnerships at Prostate Cancer UK, added: “We’re delighted to be partnering with The QHotels Collection, whose venues provide a powerful platform to maximise the fundraising efforts of golfers across the country. This partnership also allows us to extend our reach beyond traditional fundraising activity, utilising the reach of the Collection to raise awareness and ultimately encourage more men to take action on their health.”
This expanded reach comes at a key moment in the charity’s golfing calendar, as they recruit thousands of golfers to take on The Big Golf Race, and work with hundreds of golf captains and golfers hosting charity golf events this summer raising money to fund lifesaving research and reach men at highest risk of prostate cancer. This partnership provides further opportunities to drive participation in Prostate Cancer UK’s work in golf across the game.
Supporting initiatives like this reflects The QHotels Collection’s role as a driving force within the industry, continuing to invest in the future of the game while enabling golfers to combine quality playing experiences with impactful initiatives.
