Sports Coach Systems are one of the fore runners in the industry when it comes to the manufacture and development of golf electronics. As the only manufacturer of golf simulators in the UK they are proud to announce that, at 63 courses, their library of courses is now the world’s most comprehensive. There are another 27 courses currently under construction.
The GPS simulator software, which is written in house, has been recognised as the world’s most advanced. It is also being supplied to other golf simulator manufacturers worldwide.
The GPS programme is unique in that it is used to map not only existing courses but also courses before construction, by mapping the architects’ computerised drawings and satellite imaging.
Architects have found this to be a useful tool, since alterations to the course can be made after play on the simulator and before construction, saving time and money while the developers can not only generate membership application but also market and sell all the surrounding real estate.
Of the 63 courses currently available, courses such as the Old Course at St Andrews, The Belfry, Carnoustie, Turnberry, Cog Hill, Kingsbarns, The Old Head Links, Celtic Manor, Pebble Beach and Doral prove to be a good test for any golfer.
While famous courses such as Banff Springs, Ballybunion, Druids Glen, European Club, Halmstad and Innisbrook are under construction and will be available shortly. Sports Coach is currently in decisions with other courses in different parts of the world and will soon pass the 100 mark with a library of courses which will continue to be second to none.
These famous courses can all be played at Sports Coach’s own golf academy at Dorking, Surrey, where seven simulators are available to play. (Academy number 01306 740311)
