Softspikes Inc., pioneer and world leader in plastic golf cleats, has introduced the ‘Shadow’ cleat. The new model is now being featured as original equipment on more than 55 percent of FootJoy branded golf shoes outside of Europe and is available for shipping to the golf accessory market.
The Shadow cleat is an upgrade in performance from the company’s popular XP
Extra Performance cleat. The Shadow features a flat centre design, with wider, reinforced legs which offer greater durability and traction than the XP. The Shadow is also designed to be more agronomically friendly over the many types of grasses and conditions that golfers experience throughout the world.

The Shadow will be available in the patented Trisport™ fast twist insert system (found on FootJoy shoes and other leading brands), as well as the small metal thread insert and the large plastic thread insert.
