Softspikes and Masters Tackle Sweden in Joint Venture

8.19am 28th October 2011 - Corporate

Softspikes®, the world’s leading cleat, tee and grip manufacturers, have appointed leading distributers, The Masters Golf Company, to represent their brands across Sweden in all product categories, including Softspikes®, Pride Golf Tees and Black Widow Grips®.

The news follows Masters’ recruitment of a comprehensive Swedish sales force with a wealth of industry experience.

The team, consisting of Per Levin, Anders Hansson and Nick Meaker, will support the golf trade with an extensive, consummate service which will include regular scheduled visits.

Importantly, the new collaborative will have access to supreme quality products with a substantial margin.

Already, exciting new product digital media has launched in the Swedish market, displaying both Masters’ and Softspikes’ commitment to moving into the new media age by providing all-encompassing content to the golf retailer.

Pride Sports Business Unit Manager for Europe, Louise Roe, spoke of the agreement: “Masters have provided the perfect route to market through their unrivalled sales force and all-embracing product video content. We’ve already seen an exciting, instantaneous response from the Swedish trade. It’s great to see that the industry is moving on.”

Further emphasising the quality of service provided by Masters, the company provides a bespoke, tailor-made stockist search which enables consumers to identify retailers in their area, therefore driving business directly to the trade.
