New promotion by Club Car

8.30am 6th March 2003 - Corporate

Club Car has launched a national turf or ‘utility’ vehicle promotion. By offering a choice of purchase solutions suitable for all budgets, Club Car hopes to make its range more accessible to golf greenkeepers and professional course managers across the UK.

Features of the Club Car range include the unique lightweight corrosion free aluminium chassis design, which is claimed to be three times stronger than its competitor’s steel frame models and is capable of carrying up to a 680kg payload. The ArmorFlex® body, also seen throughout the range, is impact resistant and adds to the overall low maintenance appeal of Club Car turf vehicles.

Club Car also offers exceptional warranties and environmentally-friendly design so that its vehicles appeal to turf professionals who are looking at a long term investment strategy.

As part of this promotion Club Car has also considered customers’ budgetary constraints by introducing the ‘Flexi-Options 5’ financing package. This allows courses to operate a vehicle as a leased vehicle, with maintenance and insurance options available. After five years courses can keep the vehicle, or replace it after three or four years with another Club Car turf vehicle.

The Flexi-Options 5 package means that owning a Club Car turf vehicle can cost as little as £16 per week and, furthermore, no deposits will be required

Robert Drewery, marketing director of Club Car Europe explained, “We already know that green keepers regard our turf vehicles as the market leaders in terms of performance, so what we intend to achieve through this promotion is to make buying our vehicles as easy and affordable as possible.”
