ProQuip, preferred weatherwear supplier to the 2006 European Ryder Cup Team, has launched the new Neptune II men’s waterproof suit and added a distinctive, new Half Sleeve jacket to its market leading Ladies Ultralite range.
The new, updated Neptune II suit features classic ProQuip styling and an exclusive high-performance fabric that keeps golfers dry and comfortable in all conditions. The suit is available in a choice of styles with either a jacket or playing top with zip off sleeves, plus trousers.

The suit is available in a variety of colours and sizes with suggested retail prices of £105 (jacket & trousers) or £110 (playing top & trousers).
Designed by women for women, the versatile Ladies Ultralite Half Sleeve jacket features a flattering, stylish cut in an ultra-lightweight, high-performance fabric that allows extra freedom of movement during the swing.
The addition to the range – women now have a choice of long sleeve or half sleeve Ultralite jackets – follows detailed market research by ProQuip into what women want from their weatherwear.
ProQuip brand manager Pauline Dale says, “The Ladies Ultralite range has proved extremely popular because our female designers created precisely the younger-looking, stylish suit that women told us they wanted to wear.
“What also became clear was that women golfers wanted a choice, specifically a versatile, modern, all-year-round jacket. The Ladies Ultralite Half Sleeve, with its combination of female-specific cut, high-performance fabric and distinctive design, gives them that choice – and a very compelling choice indeed.”
Made from a specially designed laminated waterproof-breathable fabric exclusive to ProQuip, Ladies Ultralite rain suits are lightweight and soft, maximising comfort and minimising noise. As with all ProQuip waterproofs, garments are guaranteed for three years.
