New machines from John Deere

12.15am 20th September 2007 - Corporate

This year is the 21st anniversary of John Deere’s commercial & consumer equipment division in the UK and Ireland. In addition to the new TH 6×4 Gator utility vehicle and C Series walk-behind green mowers announced earlier this year, at IOG SALTEX 2007 John Deere showed a number of other new machines for the first time.

These included the 2653B utility mower, new versions of the company’s established greens mowers, the 2500B and 2500E hybrid, and the heavy-duty ProGator 2030A utility vehicle. The company also launched three brand new machines at Windsor this year: the 580 materials collection system (a 580H high-lift version was on the stand, fitted to an X748 4WD diesel lawn tractor), the X534 all-wheel steer lawn tractor and, a John Deere first, a range of walk-behind mowers fitted with a fully integrated rear roller.

A special TH Gator utility vehicle display marked the sale of the 3000th 6×4 Gator in the UK and Ireland since the range had its initial public launch at the IOG Exhibition in September 1993, when the event was held at Peterborough.

New 0% finance deals are available on HPX Gator utility vehicles and attachments, Aercore 1500 aerators and all new golf course equipment, while the CX Compact Gator utility vehicle is now available with a standard two year commercial warranty.
