New Acushnet fitting centre

Ryder Cup captain and Titleist staff player, Sam Torrance was guest of honour at Brampton Park Golf Club to mark the official opening of the Acushnet Fitting Centre and Brampton Park Driving Range. The new facility near Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire is just 15 minutes from Acushnet’s European headquarters in St Ives and represents a major new service for Acushnet trade customers and the golfing public.

Acushnet’s portfolio includes some of the best known brands in golf, namely Titleist, FootJoy, Cobra and Pinnacle and in recent years, club professionals and consumers have been able to visit Acushnet’s headquarters to try the full range of products. The new facility at Brampton further extends and improves this service to enable visitors to utilise Acushnet’s state of the art technology to help them select Titleist and Cobra club products ideally suited to their game. Visitors to Brampton are also given the option to combine a visit to the Acushnet headquarters in St Ives to be laser-fitted for FootJoy shoes and see the club assembly and ball printing departments in operation.

The new fitting centre comprises two enlarged heated bays within the impressive new 12 bay driving range at Brampton Park Golf Club. Acushnet have 2 full time technical staff dedicated to assisting customers with custom fitting at the range. The main feature at the fitting centre is the ‘Titleist Launch Monitor’ a state of the art piece of technology that records the vital data when you strike the ball to select the best driver specifications to suit your game.
