Ping Europe Ltd received a Silver award at the In-Store Marketing British Point of Purchase Awards 2002 held at The Hilton, Park Lane, London.
The company’s Concept Shop was short-listed in the Sports, Toys and Accessories category along with some of the biggest names in sport.
Commenting on the judges’ decision to award the Concept Shop the silver award, an In-Store Marketing magazine spokesman said, “As well as its smart and professional look, judges were impressed by the flexible, mix – and – match nature of the design which allows it to be installed in a wide cross section of retail outlets.”
The Concept Shop has been installed in over 200 golf retail outlets across Europe and has been met with almost universal approval by retailers. The design enables account holders to display Ping clubs and the Ping accessory range side by side on an attractive unit. That maximises its impact on consumers and at the same time enables the retailer to display Ping product in an attractive and efficient manner.
