12.10am 13th November 2003 - Corporate

John Letters of Scotland, one of the oldest golf equipment manufacturing companies in the world, staged its biggest ever, new product range launch at Premiere Golf 2003 in Marbella from 4th – 7th November.
The Glasgow based company unveiled a total of 15 new products, as well as debuting a completely new equipment brand along with the high tech re-launch of one of their oldest brands of putters.
At their well appointed stand in the Palais de Congress, Marbella, the Letters team displayed five new sets of irons, five new putters, three sets of woods, two wedges, two new boxed sets of clubs and a range of stylish matching accessories.
Trilogy continues its development as John Letter’s premium brand and Marbella saw the launch of three irons, two woods and one new wedge all bearing that name.
However, in a new departure for the 84-year-old company, Premiere Golf was also the launch pad for LettsGolf – a new addition to the John Letters stable. Available only in an attractive boxed set, the LettsGolf range draws on years of experience and expertise to offer entry-level golfers value-for-money, quality equipment to help the beginner/improver golfer to develop their game.
Silver Swan is one of the company’s oldest brands, dating back to the 1930‘s, and it is fitting that it makes its return to the John Letters range for 2004 as one of the most technologically advanced putters on the market.
Gordon White, chairman and managing director of the company said, “We are delighted to be able to launch this comprehensive John Letters product range for 2004. Not only does it represent the biggest new product range in the history of the company, it has been achieved whilst upholding the highest standards of quality, innovation and value for money which have become the John Letters hallmark.”
