Golf Valley in Germany has joined the IMG Prestige global network of world-class clubs and resorts.

Golf Valley is situated in an idyllic leisure area, offering breath-taking views of the mountains and Lake Tegernsee, in the heart of the Bavarian region. Offering 27 holes of David Krause designed golf, the course presents a challenging and enjoyable experience close to Munich.

The club offers a 9-hole academy course and a 21-hectare golf development centre, with flood-lit driving range and short game practice area. The golf academy is recognised as one of the best in the country and features the latest custom fitting and swing analysis technology.

Russell Hannah, Senior Director, IMG Golf Course Services, commented: “Golf Valley is another fantastic addition to our growing network of world-class golf clubs and resorts. The club has a large membership base, which we believe will take great advantage of the 200+ courses around the world. Their golf facilities are impressive and we’re confident that any IMG Prestige member visiting Munich will also thoroughly enjoy playing Golf Valley.”

Daniela Maczey, Head of Marketing & Events, Golf Valley München, commented: “We feel extremely honoured to be part of the IMG Prestige global network. This is a fantastic benefit to our members as they really enjoy playing at other quality golf clubs around the world, whether they’re travelling on business or leisure. Even with the limited international air travel we’re facing at the moment, there are still multiple exciting Clubs in Europe they can visit by driving”.
